Welcome to the Barrow
The Barrow is a place for businesses interested in health and sustainability to take root as they bring nourishment, inspiration and positive solutions to our community. Inspired by the 1923 poem The Red Wheelbarrow by William Carlos Williams, the name conveys our interest in connecting the urban experience to nature, and in each of us carrying “our load” of responsibility for the planet and each other using the simple image of a wheelbarrow full of soil.

The Barrow includes both the Stellaria and Mahonia buildings as well as the outdoor space connecting the two. Click on the images below to read more about the history and specifics of the buildings.

This space has a reception area and 2 enclosed interior offices. It is located on the 3rd floor.

For non profit businesses the estimated CAM is $163.

This space has an inviting reception area, conference room, kitchenette, 4 enclosed offices and 5 other work spaces.
$4750 (including green fees) per month.
Estimated CAM is $1023 for 2024.
For non profit, CAM would be $660
Both suites have electricity costs reduced by solar input (about 20%), and CAM costs are reduced because of solar hot water.
